goa eh? :) Never been to that place but definitely on my 'must visit' list. This place could also be mistaken for Kovalam, Trivandrum.

@geo - this is just the beginning dear and u already giving up..wht when i mention my entire list of places i love in goa ..incidentally am at an advantage having spent 2 years of my life in Goa ( remmber pathshala from RDB - get the hint )

@binu - none of those..vagator is too rocky and calangute is best avoided and I think i told u abt my favourite beach ..that just proves men dont really listen to women .. he he
yes i will i have quite a lot to share ..see if i can scrounge around and put up phone nos of the locals for arranging bikes/ cars ...acco.. give me some time ..

@geo - we had it all too.. and for 2 years .. we were studyin ( supposedly ) ..still remember goin to beach at 3 0 clock at night returning at 6 and then attending class at 9 .. with police patroling the beaches .. and the choopy dangerous sea ..

@samcam - thanks ..taken by a true goan and a very close friend of mine from my days in Goa. He is God as far as every nook and corner of Goa is concerned .
@jithu - no ..Donna Paula is anotehr rocky beach and doesnt have such a wide expanse . It also has the figurines of the legendary lovers Donna and Paula .
Yep nicked it from Mind Curry .. since u got scared of that in his site its but natural that it should happen here again - hope u didnt have a heart attack ..:-)

In all likelihood u have studied at Goa Institute of Management at Panaji. Is it Miramar beach...

yes,,GIM it is 5 kms away from panaji ...on the highway to old goa ..ribander to be precise ..with the madovi skirting the road on both sides ,,its an awesome ride .. from campus to any place .. beach ..
calling my fav beach miramar is a sacrilege .. miramar is saddest and dirtiest beach in goa ... havent set foot dere ever .. howevr the one i show ..is amazing ..not known to many and yes full of foreigners the year round ... we hardly saw indian flesh for the 4-5 days i stayed on the beach wid frds... neways will update tis week ..places tht are my favourite and which u cant normally ever find on ur own ..

I want to say Palolem...but I guess not!
For me, a goan to the core, that is THE BEST beach! Whatever that people may have to say!

hey ,, yes its not palolem .. but ur very close ..i would have rated palolem d best ( have visited that many times too) but for a few advantages this beach has oevr palolem ( but both are equally enchanting as far as shacks go..and the look and feel yes palolem has tent shacks which d other one doesnt ) ... I will update soon ..too busy wid life .. too hectic since our product is seasonal and season has alrady ebgun plus am horse riding , gyming and swimming nearly all days .. and working 10-8 .. he he .. i passed out in 2005 ..last year .,,u still in goa ?

Close? I cant think of anything better that close to Palolem...what is it that you market? i guess it must be something to do with the summer...thanda thanda cool cool - didn't that make me sound like a fool! And the rhyme was even worse! ;)
2005 huh! Then you might know Sharon, a batch junior. We went to college together.
I used to call Goa my home...not any more...life and dreams got me to the city of dreams...Mumbai!
